Twisted Realities

Hi there! My name is Caity Kelly and I am a graduate student at Florida State Univeristy studying Instructional Systems and Learning Technologies. The first picture you see in my gallery was taken in a crevice below FSU's Suwannee Dining Hall. I was a hungry Zombie waiting for a stray human to stroll by, oblivious to the hordes of undead lurking in the shadows. Zombies won, of course--we always do!.

As you may have guessed, I am not actually a reanimated corpse; rather, I am a veteran player for FSU's Humans vs. Zombies club. We are a group of passionate, imaginative nerds who thrive on the thrill of creating missions for dozens of players and experiencing those plans in action as we struggle to survive against the relentless zombie team.

In addition to HvZ, you can see photographic examples of my myriad of nerdy interests. I have been an avid participant in such role playing activities as murder mystery dinner games and Dungeons & Dragons. I am fascinated by the variety of team-based RPG's that continue to develop and the process of writing that occurs behind-the-scenes. My blog is designed to cover such topics in a way that may provide inspiration to other writers of role-playing activities--or creative writers in general! Additionally, I will discuss how the rise of technology and gaming can affect vital aspects of our lives, such as our career paths.
