​I have done extensive work in teaching, peer tutoring, research assistance, and marketing material/website design for various Florida State University organizations.

Outside of FSU, I have provided my own services through Blog Sage and Grimm Allusions Event Planning. These services focus on website design and editing as well as event/activity development for fundraising and team building goals.

  • Work for FSU's ACE Learning Studio as the first/only psychology tutor

  • Tutor psychology subjects including general psychology, clinical psychology, abnormal psychology, and introduction to brain and behavior

  • Discuss study tools, strategies, and campus resources for students to ensure academic enrichment

  • Write tutor reports to document study techniques utilized during sessions, material discussed, student conduct, and suggested follow-up actions

  • Lead group tutoring sessions for high-demand subjects

  • Design/disperse marketing materials for ACE psychology tutoring events

Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program Leader
Fall 2017--Spring 201​8
  • Develop lesson​ plans and instruct UROP participants in the basics of research, campus resources, and engagement with faculty-supported research projects

  • Guide UROP students in CV creation, application to research projects, and creation of research presentations/design professional posters for FSU's Undergraduate Research Symposium

Spring 2017 

  • Utilized a broad range of research methods, including survey/​questionnaires, high-impact situational manipulations, and priming/reaction tasks

  • Guided participants through experiments, coded quantitative data through Microsoft Excel, and organized/managed daily lab operations

  • Attended weekly lab meetings to provide status updates/give feedback on grad student presentations/papers

  • Minimum 9 hour per week commitment 

Peer Tutoring

Spring 2017 

  • Successfully completed ENC3493 Peer Tutoring in the Reading/Writing Center/Digital Studio (final grade: A)

  • Completed tutoring observation/co-tutoring in the Reading/Writing Center followed by solo tutoring

  • Provided support for students' active process of writing/composing as well as the development of writing expertise in all genres

  • Acted as "practice audience" for students' ideas/writing, helping them develop their skills in a variety of areas including reflective practice and the use of successful writing strategies
